A team of experts, led by CEA within the auspices of the Project Assessing & Streamlining the Potentials of the Open Balkan Initiative prepared  an updated report from the research on  the  Progress for Narrowing the Administrative Gap of OBI in the Area of Free Access to Labour Market as well as the Views of the Business Community.

The Administrative gap report provides an update on the state of play of the OBI, in terms of adoption and ratification of the OBI agreements and MoUs. The report summarises what the administration in the countries have done with the memorandums and agreements signed and the new protocols and assesses the level of preparedness of the administration to assume operationalization of the two new protocols.

Moreover, the report on the Businesses’ view provides recommendations from the view of the business community related to the free access to the labor market as well as the “sentiment” of the business community about the need for a regional business forum for OBI .
