Center for Economic Analyses (CEA) – Skopje is pleased to invite you to participate on the closing project event themed “Tax behavior insights for improved tax compliance and responsibility”, on the 15th of December 2021 in Hotel Double Tree Hilton Skopje or online through the Zoom platform.

The goal of this hybrid (virtual and physical presence) event is to provide empirical and policy insights on the tax responsibility through enhanced tax compliance and tax behavior outcomes, seen through the pilot experiences in North Macedonia and the international experiences.

The event envisages sessions that will present and discuss the challenges the local governments in local tax collection, international experiences in the tax morale and the tax behavior, the effects of a pilot trials of influencing tax behaviors in North Macedonia on a local level and internationally, as well as discuss the citizen engagement as a driver of tax morale.

The event is part of the EU co-funded project, Tax responsibility Project – Towards civic responsibility and responsible tax, implemented by CEA. The project aimed to contribute to the promotion of tax responsibility, adapted to the context of the North Macedonia, both enhancing civic tax responsibility but also through the promotion of accountability of governments.

The conference is open, however all participants, either with physical or virtual presence are required to register in advance for form of presence on the link.
