PROJECT: Strengthened Capacities of Local Grassroots Leaders for Rapid Tourism Development

The project Strengthened Capacities of Local Grassroots Leaders for Rapid Tourism Development is implemented by Veles Biking – Veles in partnership with the Center for Economic Analysis from Skopje.
This project is supported by the “Civil Society Resource Centre”, implemented by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC), the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) from Gostivar and Media Plus from Stip.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of the local organization – Veles Biking for Sustainable Development through the know how system for transferring knowledge and experience. Through the planned activities with the project partners, it will have a multiplier effect on the members of the association in terms of increasing the capacity to implement and run large projects, financial management and for the first time to create a strategic document that will serve as a basis for the identified goals and strategic goals for better recreation of athletes, environmental protection and tourism development.

The duration of the project is 6 months from 14.06.2019 – 13.12.2019.

The total project budget is 184.440 MKD.
